BIA board urges EP Aqua Park to reconsider
![]() |
An open letter to the Evergreen Aqua Park Board of Directors:
I am writing to you on behalf of the Beverly Improvement Association and the residents in our area. Although located in Evergreen Park, Evergreen Aqua has done a wonderful job of serving all of the residents of the broader community. We write to tell you that our civic association requests that you reconsider your decision to close this wonderful facility.
The news of your closing was our first notice that Evergreen Aqua was having financial difficulties. In addition to our request that you not close, we stand ready to do whatever we can to promote membership in Evergreen Aqua. It would be a shame if Aqua cannot remain open as we will get through these hard economic times.
As volunteer members of a civic association board of directors, we want to thank all of you for your past and current efforts in maintaining Evergreen Aqua as a great asset to our community.
Collins T. Fitzpatrick
President
Beverly Improvement
Association
