MAA students get loud over poetry
![]() ![]() |
Local Mt. Assisi Academy (MAA) students including Rachel Rogers, of Beverly, Casey Blake, Cathleen Reddington and Caitlin McNamara, of Mt. Greenwood, were among 12 MAA seniors who bravely took the stage recently to participate in the school’s 2010 Poetry Out Loud Competition and wound up impressing their peers, teachers and parents with authentic recitations of classic poems by renowned authors. Rogers recited “The Lost Land,” by Eavan Boland.
This is part of the March 10, 2010 online edition of The Beverly Review.
