St. Walter students stage 'Godspell'
![]() ![]() |
Under the direction of music teacher Anthony Whitaker and Principal Laura Kennedy, St. Walter Elementary School held its first all-school musical recently in Peterson Hall. The students gave a performance of acting, dancing and singing, which conveyed a powerful lesson of faith. There were a lot of tears at the end as people were deeply moved by this performance. Bishop Gustavo and Father Peter gave support of this musical during Lent. Calumet Paint donated paint for the set. First American Bank advertised the show. This was an all-school musical with all-community support, including staff of the Beverly Arts Center.
This is part of the March 10, 2010 online edition of The Beverly Review.
