Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Dan Patlak will hold a property tax appeal seminar on Monday, Dec. 9, at 6 p.m., at the Worth Township Office, 11601 S. Pulaski Rd., in Alsip, and Wednesday, Dec. 11, at the Oak Lawn Village Hall, 9446 S. Raymond Ave., for taxpayers seeking to appeal their 2019 property tax assessments. Worth Township is open for appeal through Tuesday, Dec. 17. The hour-long property tax appeal seminar will educate taxpayers on how to file a successful tax appeal and provide information on property tax exemptions. The seminar will include a presentation by Patlak explaining the appeal procedure at the Board of Review.
