Elim Evangelical Free Church

The Church of Chicago will host “Marriage Tune-Up Seminar 2017” on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 10 and 11. The two-day event will be held at Elim Evangelical Free Church, 10000 S. Kostner Ave., from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, and Saturday, Feb. 11, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“Marriage Tune-Up Seminar 2017” is designed for the married couple and those who are looking to marry in the near future. The theme is “Becoming and Remaining One.”

Each couple will complete an assessment and have an opportunity to unpack the results with certified couples who will help figure out what it all means. In addition, there will be dancing and food.

The cost per couple is $50, which includes assessment, food and dancing.

Imago Dei

Imago Dei is a new church for Beverly and Morgan Park residents. Neighbors are launching an integrated, multi-ethnic church. Together, they hope to experience God in a meaningful way; learn the relevance of the Bible; and serve the community and one another.

Immanuel United Church of Christ and Rising UP! Inc., are offering a free class to newcomers at its weekly Tai Chi for Seniors and All Abilities classes. 

Doctor recommended for balance, mobility, high blood pressure and overall wellness with seated and standing adaptations. Ongoing classes are held every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 9815 S. Campbell Ave., in Evergreen Park.

Bethany Union Church, 1750 W. 103rd St., will welcome Felicia Alston on Saturday, Feb. 18, from noon to 2 p.m. Alston will host her craft class, with this month’s project “From the Heart.”
