St. Margaret of Scotland

St. Margaret of Scotland, 9837 S. Throop St., will host its 30th annual St. Patrick’s Day party/parish reunion on Saturday, March 4, immediately following the 4:30 p.m. Mass.

The event will feature members of the Marist High School choral group.

The donation is $35.

There will also be a raffle with three cash prizes, $2,500 and two $1,000. Each ticket costs $50, but sales will be limited to 200 tickets.

Immanuel United Church of Christ

The Women of Hannah Circle will present its 10th annual “Bringin’ Sassy Back” spa and vendor night on Friday, Feb. 24, from 6 to 10 p.m., at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 9815 S. Campbell Ave., in Evergreen Park.

General admission is $4 per person, which includes two tickets for the vendor raffle. Children under 12 are free.

The spa will feature facials, $45; manicures, $15; pedicures, $20; chair massages, $15; eyebrow wax, $12; lip or chin wax, $10; hand paraffin wax, $15; and table massages, $20. No appointments are necessary. Walk-ins are welcome.

Guests who do not want to get pampered are invited to come and shop the 30 vendors. Food, soda and wine will be available for purchase.

Also at the event, Carson’s Days booklets will be sold.

Men and children are also welcome to get pampered.

St. Barnabas

St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church, 10134 S. Longwood Drive, will host “You Are My Neighbor,” an interfaith gathering on Thursday, March 2, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The event welcomes Muslim, refugee and immigrant neighbors.

More than two-dozen churches and organizations representing various faith communities will participate.

Partners in Faith include Alianza Americas, Bethany Union, Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran, Beverly Unitarian, Christ the King, Grace Seeds Ministry, Inner-City Muslim Action Network, Jewish Voices for Peace, Most Holy Redeemer, Oak Lawn Clergy and Religious Workers Association, Queen of Martyrs, St. Bernadette, St. Cajetan, St. Christina, St. Gerald, St. John Fisher, St. Linus, St. Margaret of Scotland, St. Walter, Temple Sinai, The Beverly Community of Churches, The Presbytery of Chicago’s Ecumenical-interreligious Work Group, Trinity United Church of Christ, The Mosque Foundation and Muslim American Society-Chicago.

Sisters of St. Casimir

A Mass praying for the beatification of Venerable Mother Maria Kaupas, foundress of the Sisters of St. Casimir, will be held on Saturday, March 4, at 9:30 a.m., in the St. Casimir Center chapel, 2601 W. Marquette Road.

This Mass will also commemorate the Feast of St. Casimir. The Rev. Thomas McCarthy, OSA, will be the celebrant.

All are invited. Light refreshments will be served after the liturgy.
