The Beverly Arts Center (BAC), 2407 W. 111th St., recently announced its School of Fine Arts winter session.
Winter session classes, lessons and workshops are offered in various disciplines including dance, visual arts, music, theater, film and more. Classes will begin the week of Jan. 6, 2020, and run for 10 weeks.
The BAC School of Fine Arts offers a wide array of new opportunities. New private lessons include brass and woodwind instruction with professional teaching artists. For young theater aficionados, the BAC now offers stage combat classes for ages 6-18. The BAC has also expanded its list of adult offerings to include several types of dance, ceramics, senior movement classes, painting parties and more.
Continuing in the winter is the Beverly Arts Center Art Start College Prep Program. Classes in this program are designed to help teens who are interested in pursuing visual arts degrees develop a top-notch portfolio while establishing a foundation for education that they can carry with them.
The BAC will also offer a Sale Day for each session. The winter session’s Sale Day will be Wednesday, Nov. 13, and it offers patrons 10 percent off the price of classes. BAC members can use the Sale Day discount in conjunction with their membership discount.
Registration for classes is open until Jan. 5, 2020.
