Irish fiddler Katie Grennan will join host Mike Houlihan as he produces another episode of his TV show, “Our Irish Pub,” on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m., at Cork & Kerry Irish Pub, 10614 S. Western Ave. The show will also feature Irish banjo player Pauline Conneely, recording artist Gavin Coyle, bodhran player Amy Richter and step dancer Tadgh Spillane.

Irish-American radio personality Mike Houlihan will produce another episode of his TV show, “Our Irish Pub,” on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m., at Cork & Kerry Irish Pub, 10614 S. Western Ave.

The show will feature host Irish fiddler Katie Grennan, from the Irish band Gaelic Storm, visiting local Irish pubs, playing traditional Irish music with other Irish musicians and offering some history on each pub.

Joining Grennan at Cork & Kerry will be Irish musician Pauline Conneely, a former champion Irish step dancer, founder of Chicago Reel and legendary Irish banjo player.

Also performing will be Derry-born singer-songwriter and recording artist Gavin Coyle, two-time Midwest Fleadh Cheoil bodhran champion Amy Richter and two-time world champion step dancer and local Oak Lawn High School student Tadgh Spillane.

The show will kick off at 7 p.m. at Cork & Kerry, and Houlihan will also tape his radio show beforehand on that night.

Houlihan formerly co-hosted “The Skinny & Houli Radio Show” for nine years before Jim “Skinny” Sheahan retired last December. Houlihan now solos on “The Hibernian Radio Hour,” which is broadcast every Saturday on WSBC-1240AM from 7 to 8 p.m. It features Irish music, news, comedy and interviews with Irish first responders, police officers, firefighters and paramedics.

All audience members are required to sign television appearance release forms that night.
