Presenting a night of standup comedy, Steve Cochran & Friends will perform at the Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St., on Friday, Sept. 27, at 8 p.m.

The evening will feature sets from Cochran and John DaCosse and will be hosted by Tim Benker.

A radio personality for over 30 years, Cochran is a Chicago favorite as the morning drive host on WGN Radio. He’s been seen on NBC, TBS and Comedy Central and has opened for comedians such as Ellen DeGeneres, George Lopez and Craig Ferguson. DaCosse is a regular at comedy clubs across the Chicago area, as well as over the airwaves on WGN with his character voices.

Benker is a veteran of standup comedy, having performed in 35 states in opening for many well-known acts including Jay Leno, Rose O’Donnell and Drew Carey. He has also hosted morning radio in Las Vegas, Nev., and Houston, Texas. His performances, “The Very Famous Lance Vegas” and “An Idiot’s Guide to Fixing Stoopid,” garnered much audience acclaim.
