James “Larry” Conway Sr., 86, of Beverly, died Sept. 22.

Funeral services were held Sept. 25 from Donnellan Funeral Home to St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church. Private interment followed.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jeanne; his children, Mary (Patrick) Gilroy, Kathy (Jim) White, Kevin (Kathleen) and Michael Conway and Carolyn (John) Roberson; his grandchildren, Patrick (Molly), Connor and Kevin Gilroy, Katie (Jason) Iehl, Jimmy and Joey White, Kevin Jr., Brendan and Brigid Conway, Christina (Zach) Lilly, John Jr. and Molly Roberson, and Jimmy, Sean and Brian Conway; his great-grandchildren, Naomi and Noah Lilly; his siblings, Colleen Schramm and Kathy (Ed) Maryniak; and many nieces and nephews.

Conway was a deacon for 30 years in the Archdiocese of Chicago. He was also an avid Cubs fan.
