Beverly Unitarian Church

Beverly Unitarian Church, 103rd Street and Longwood Drive, will host Trivia Night at the Castle on Saturday, April 8, at 7:30 p.m. The room will be divided into groups with a maximum number of six at each table. Pam Carlson will be the trivia emcee. Admission is $15 per person. Light snacks will be served and participants can BYOB.

The Beverly Unitarian Church’s book club will host a discussion of “The South Side: A Portrait of Chicago and American Segregation,” by Natalie Moore, on Monday, April 10, at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held on the second floor. The first floor sanctuary will be in use. Guests are asked to enter through the south stairway to not disturb.

Morgan Park Baptist Church

Pastor Thomas Aldworth will lead a discussion of professors Marcus Borg and John Dominic Crossan’s book, “The Last Week: What the Gospels Really Teach about Jesus’ Final Days in Jerusalem,” on Wednesday, April 12, from 11 a.m. to noon and again from 7 to 8 p.m., at Morgan Park Baptist Church, 110th Street and Bell Avenue.
