Two people, including a teenager, were shot while sitting in a parked car in Morgan Park, according to the Chicago Police Department.
Police said the crime was reported at about 12:11 a.m. on July 29 on the 1600 block of West Waseca Place, which is about a block southeast of Monterey and Vincennes avenues.
The victims were sitting in the car when an unknown occupant of another vehicle fired shots, striking both victims.
A 14-year-old suffered two gunshot wounds to the head and was in critical condition.
A 29-year-old man suffered a graze wound to the head and was in good condition after refusing medical treatment, police said. His background is known to police.
A description of the assailant was not available.
