Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church
The Peace Team of Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9401 S. Oakley Ave., will host the second in a series, Civil Conversations: A Deeper Dive into Current Issues, on Wednesday, May 16, at 7:30 p.m.
The topic will be Chicago as a sanctuary city. Community members are welcome and encouraged to join the conversation.
The purpose of the conversations is to listen to others’ views on a topic, especially views that differ from one’s own.
Conversation groups will use a method called mutual invitation, developed by Eric Law, of the Kaleidoscope Institute, to ensure everyone has a chance to speak and be heard with respect.
