Screenings can check for plaque buildup in arteries, HDL and LDL cholesterol levels, diabetes risk, bone density, kidney and thyroid function, and more. The 19th Ward will host Full Body Strength Workout with Treadfit-Beverly on Sunday, June 27, at 9 a.m., at McKiernan Park, 10714 S. Sawyer Ave. The event is free and open to the public. COVID-19 measures will be followed. Hand sanitizer and bottled water will be provided. Participants should bring a yoga mat.
