The 14th annual Beverly Hills Turkey Trot 5K brought out families and friends to North Beverly on Nov. 26, with about 2,000 participants enjoying a pleasant morning two days after Thanksgiving. Dan Regalado (top photos, center), 35, was the overall winner, racing to the finish line in 16 minutes, 15 seconds, while Evelyn Rowan (top left), 18, was the top female finisher at 20 minutes, 8 seconds. Proceeds supported the John McNicholas Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and the 19th Ward Youth and Community Foundation. The event concluded at Christ the King Elementary School, where organizers told the story of McNicholas, a North Beverly resident who died in January 2011. For full results, visit the19thward.com.
