Squirrel provides rare sight

A white morph squirrel enjoys a snack near Beverly Park on Aug. 7, making for a rare sight for local resident Rosie Buckingham. Some experts report that the odds of a female gray squirrel giving birth to an albino offspring are 1 in 100,000. Both albino and white morph squirrels are uncommon in the wild because their white fur makes them an easier target for predators. (submitted photo by Bridget Buckingham)
