Spring StoryWalk

The Oak Lawn Park District and the Oak Lawn Public Library will host a Spring Story Walk on Monday, April 5, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., at Lake Shore Park, 9610 E. Shore Dr.

Story Walk transforms the pages of a children’s storybook into signs placed sequentially along the walking trail at Lake Shore Park.

Participants will enjoy crafts and refreshments and a walk along the pathway while reading this season’s featured book.

The Story Walk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vt., and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle and Pedestrian Coalition and Kellogg Hubbard Library.
