Math Circles of Chicago will start its spring program online, and registration is now open.
A math circle is a group of people who get together to solve fun and unusual math problems outside of regular school. Participants think about math in a new way, build confidence, meet great teachers and have fun while exploring math.
There is no charge for students to participate.
Locally, Math Circles of Chicago will meet every other week, when COVID restrictions allow, on Mondays, from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m., at Morgan Park High School, 1744 W. Pryor Ave., for students in grades five to eight.
