Robert “Bob” Nedved, 75, of Beverly, died recently.
Due to COVID-19 health protocols, a private celebration will be held in Nedved’s honor with immediately family.
He is survived by his children, Monica Hunt, Noelle Carson and Michael Nedved; his son-in-law and daughter-in-law, George Carson and Olivia Nedved; his grandchildren, Chloe, Ian, Tess, Owen, Aiden and Ana; his brother, George Nedved; and his nieces and nephews, Patty Nedved, Moira Stockwell, Kevin Nedved and Brian Nedved.
Nedved graduated from Leo High School (1963) where he formed many lifelong relationships. Always looking up to his architect father, George, he entered an adjacent career in contract furnishing, partnering with architects and designers to complete their vision of an interior.
After establishing permanence in his industry 25 years ago, he would go on to form a successful business of his own that he ran until his retirement three years ago.
Nedved’s quick wit, infectious smile, ability to make others around him smile and feel comfortable are some of his most endearing qualities. He always enjoyed the presence of others. He was eager for his yearly explorations with friends and family.
His habits of process, order and voluminous note-taking were something to behold and to poke fun of.
