Robert C. O’Keefe, 93, of Beverly, died Feb. 6.
Funeral services were held Feb. 11 from Donnellan Funeral Home to St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church. Interment followed at St. Mary Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Philippa; his children, Ann Kelliher, Lisa (Emmett McGarr), Mary (Pascual O’Dogherty) and Paul (Maureen) O’Keefe; his grandchildren, Kara Kelliher, Neil (Hayley) Kelliher, Matt Kelliher, Erin (Kyle) Lipton, Abby O’Keefe Johnson, Pascual (Maggie) O’Dogherty Jr., Roberto O’Dogherty and Patrick, Desmond and Sean O’Keefe; his step-grandchildren, Morgan and Matt Leslie and Reilly and Connor McGarr; many nieces and nephews; and his feisty dog, Dewey.
O’Keefe was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was a salesman for Superior Coffee and a longtime usher at St. Barnabas. He loved traveling, going to block parties and Ken’s Restaurant. O’Keefe had a zest for life, a quick wit and a generous heart. He will be greatly missed.
