Letters to the Editor

Back in March, our formerly reliable mail delivery dropped off to 2-3 times per week, with many items delayed 3-7 days and packages in limbo.

After a few weeks, I made an online complaint to the U.S. Postal Service. Packages appeared a few days later. A supervisor called and said that our regular carrier was on vacation and would be back soon.

That was over a month ago. Our regular mail still comes only 2-3 times per week, and package delivery issues persist.

I hope our regular carrier isn’t ill. I’d like to see her on our route again and get mail on a consistent schedule. It would also be great to get packages without them sitting for days at the Morgan Park post office or Chicago regional distribution center.
