A 1996 graduate of Br. Rice High School, Walsh grew up in Blue Island, and he earned his bachelor’s degree from Marquette University and was a member of the Marquette Rugby Club and a writer for the Marquette Tribune.
Tom and his wife, Joy, welcomed their third child, Lilly, in March, and she is the little sister of Violet and Jim, along with their family dog, Quinn.
Tom enjoys live music, gardening, volleyball, golf and spending time with friends and family. Joy, an artist and full-time mother, grew up near Midway Airport and later in Crestwood, where she caddied at Midlothian Country Club. Some of her beautiful artwork is on display at the Edward Jones office.
Walsh began his career with Edward Jones in 2013, and he has licenses and certifications including Series 7, Series 6, Series 63, Series 66, life and health insurance and long-term care insurance.
