The Illinois Basketball Coaches Association announced its 2022-23 All-State teams on March 4 with seven area players named to the respective teams.

Morgan Park Academy senior guard Sheridan Harris (average of 19.6 points, 15.5 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 4.2 blocks, 2.3 steals) was named to the Class 1A First Team, Marist senior guard/forward Elise Ward (18.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2 steals, 1.1 blocks) to the Class 4A Second Team and Marian Catholic junior guard Madison Davis (16.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.4 steals, 2.8 assists) and St. Ignatius senior guard Ada Taute (15.5 points, 7 rebounds, 3.3 assists) to the Class 3A Second Team. Mother McAuley junior forward Morgan Feil (12 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists) was named to the Class 4A Special Mention Team, and Morgan Park High School junior guard LaKeeyah Barnes (19.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.8 steals) and St. Ignatius senior guard Maureen Regan (13.5 points, 4 rebounds, 2.4 assists) were named Class 3A Special Mention.
