Leading Evergreen Park to a big road win in Blue Island on Oct. 15 in a South Suburban Conference-Red matchup, Deijon Feliciano threw for 212 yards on 12-of-18 passing with 3 touchdowns, connecting with Elijah Matthews for 4 catches for 133 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Jedidiah Adjayi (3 catches, 37 receiving yards) and Paul Westphal (receiving TD) rounded out the EP aerial attack.

In the ground game, James Williams ran for 66 yards and 2 TD, and Michael Torres also ran for 66 yards. EP improved to 5-3, 3-2.

Jack Lausch threw for 175 yards on 11-of-17 passing with 2 touchdowns, connecting with Marty O’Keeffe (3 catches, 125 yards, 2 TD) on both strikes (54 and 22 yards) and also rushed for 57 yards and a TD for Br. Rice on Oct. 15 in the Chicago Catholic League/East Suburban Catholic Conference (CCL/ESCC) crossover in Chicago Heights.

Aaron Vaughn rushed for 83 yards and 2 touchdowns, and Tommy Bennett scored on a 23-yard run. Jack Welniak connected on a 31-yard field goal.

Khary Shaw led the defense with an 89-yard interception return. Shaw finished with 2 interceptions and 5 tackles. Mike Fahy added an interception. 

Maurice Brown and Henry Ivers had 4 tackles apiece.

Kyle Thomas led host Marian Catholic with 111 passing yards and 114 rushing yards, including a 61-yard TD run. Kaleb Isom had 5 catches for 62 yards for the Spartans (3-5).

Jaden Bossie scored 2 touchdowns for Mt. Carmel (6-2), pulling in a 31-yard receiving TD and returning a kickoff 93 yards for a score in the CCL/ESCC crossover game on Oct. 15 in Arlington Heights.

Blainey Dowling, Darrion Dupree, Mario Davis and Enzo De Rosa each had a rushing TD for the Caravan.

Myles Smith finished with 8 tackles, a pass break-up and a fumble recovery to lead the defensive effort. Derek Whaley (4 tackles, interception, tackle for loss), Jermaine Hampton (4 tackles), Danny Novickas (2 TFL, forced fumble), Charlie Fordon (TFL), Tavon Rice (TFL), Elliott Lewis (TFL), Joshua Oakley (pass break-up) and Matthew Perry (INT) all chipped in defensively.

Jimmy Rolder had a big day defensively for Marist (6-2) on Oct. 15 in Mundelein in the CCL/ESCC crossover victory, finishing with a 52-yard touchdown on a fumble recovery and adding an interception.

The RedHawks featured a run-heavy offense with 29 carries for 239 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns with Alonzo Manning (15 carries, 133 yards), Jaylen Johnson (60 rushing yards, 2 TD) and Dermot Smyth (rushing TD) all contributing.

Dontrell Jackson threw for 50 yards and a TD, finding Ben Detampel for a 6-yard TD pass. Ryan Sims added 2 catches for 39 yards.

St. Rita 35

Tommy Ulatowski threw for 99 yards and 2 touchdowns and also rushed for 25 yards and a TD as host St. Rita rolled to a CCL/ESCC-Green win on Oct. 15.

Ulatowski found E.J. Nwagwu and Nikolas Norton for a TD reception each.

Ethan Middleton started at running back and piled up 18 carries for 101 yards and a TD for the Mustangs. Djabril McNabb also had a rushing TD.

On special teams, Jake Polselli recovered a botched Providence snap, setting up Ulatowski for his rushing TD midway through the first quarter.

Matt Kingsbury led the St. Rita defense with an interception, and Liam Bartos had a key pass break-up on a fourth-down attempt.

St. Ignatius 35

Vinny Rugai rushed for 2 touchdowns to lead St. Ignatius (8-0) to the road win on Oct. 15 in the

CCL/ESCC crossover game.

Jake Lo (8-yard TD run), Jacob Lawler (interception), Tommy Bloss (10-yard TD run), Jack Cronin (44-yard receiving TD) and Jake Petrow (passing TD) provided key contributions for the Wolfpack.

Playing at Gately Stadium on Oct. 16 in a Public League Illini Red Bird Division game, Morgan Park (5-3, 4-1) featured a balanced attack on offense. The Mustangs were led by Aaron Warren (2 rushing TD). Tysean Griffin, Quince Shearer (4 yards), Justin Bisbee (25 yards) and Kendall Sprouts (53 yards) scored a rushing TD apiece.

The Mustangs defense added a safety and a fumble recovery for a touchdown.

De La Salle improved to 3-5 with the nonconference road win.

Notre Dame 22

Connor Cleary led St. Laurence with 9 tackles with Ryan Carroll, Ardell Chambers, Casey Forbes and Zack Siebenaler adding 7 tackles apiece on Oct. 15 in Niles in the CCL/ESCC crossover game.

Brandon McCoy completed 12 of 23 passes for 108 yards and an interception, connecting with Corey Taubr (3 catches, 31 yards) and Mikey Elizondo (3 catches, 26 yards). Carroll added 8 carries for 30 yards.

St. Laurence (3-5) was outgained 274-155 in total yards. Notre Dame capitalized on three Vikings turnovers.

The Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences forfeited the Public League Illini Great Lakes game scheduled for Oct. 14 at Stagg Stadium.

The Cyclones dropped to 2-6 with the loss.

The Ag School will play Harlan on Oct. 20 at 7 at Gately Stadium in the first round of the city playoffs.
