The St. Christina Athletic Fields were officially inducted on July 26 into the Chicago 16-Inch Softball Fall of Fame as this year’s Field of Dreams honoree. Opened in 1996, the Hall of Fame annually honors a class featuring key players, league organizers and iconic teams, fields and parks that have played host to 16-inch softball across Chicago and the surrounding area.
