Chargers finish third at St. Christopher tourney

In the third-place game of the St. Christopher Christmas Tournament, St. Catherine of Alexandria-Red defeated St. Mary (Mokena) on Jan. 4 in Midlothian. Brendan Reynolds led the Chargers with 10 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal and a block. Also contributing to the victory were Nolan O’Brien (4 points, 13 rebounds), Danny Broline (2 points), Tommy Phillips (2 points) and Griffin Nestor (2 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals). St. Catherine lost to Evergreen Park Southwest in the semifinals. The Chargers roster includes Noah Brown, Mike Ryan, Sean Lindstrom, Jack Baffoe, Liam Donahue, Declan Ferriter, Coach Mike Donahue, Assistant Coach Mike Ryan and Assistant Coach Dan Reynolds.
